Kauno Tiekimas AB - Notification on material event

The results of activities for the III quarter and nine months period of 2008

SC “Kauno tiekimas” the income of III quarter of 2008 amounted to LTL           
121.8 million (EUR 35,3 million), increased by 11,8 percent as                  
compared to the III quarter of 2007, when income was LTL 108.9                  
million (EUR 31.5 million). The income of nine months period of 2008            
increased by 13.4 percent and amounted to LTL 340.1 million                     
(EUR 98.5 million), (2007 - LTL 299.9 million, or EUR 86.9 million).            
The pre - tax profit of the nine  months period of 2008 - LTL 336,1             
thous. (EUR 97.3 thousand), whereas the pre - tax  profit of nine               
months period of the previous financial year (2007) amounted to LTL             
244.0 thous. (EUR 70.7 thous).
