SRV and Ilmarinen Mutual Pension Insurance Company have made a contract
concerning the construction of new premises for Finnair at the Helsinki-Vantaa
airport area. Ilmarinen and Finnair have agreed on the project earlier. The
construction of the premises will follow the principles of sustainable
development and they offer advanced working environment.

The total floor area of the new multi-user building is around 70,000 square
meters, of which 22,400 square meters is offices. Finnair's head-office
functions and crew facilities will be located in the building.

The building has been named House of Travel and Transportation. It will be
built next to the present Finnair head-office where now is a parking lot. New
parking facilities for 1350 cars will be built under the new building. The
construction works will commence in July and the building will be completed at
the end of June 2013.

- This is an interesting project on a prime logistic location. In compliance
with the wishes of the client and the future users, we will utilize our
know-how in sustainable construction. The environmental classification and
energy control are important aims for both the users and the investors, Senior
Executive Vice President of SRV Juha Pekka Ojala says.

The Finnair premises will be built to qualify for Leed Gold rating and they aim
for energy class A.

- The objectives of sustainable development set requirements for building
services and even for architecture. When aiming at lower energy consumption in
the building, the amount of glass surfaces has been optimized, for instance,
says Ojala.

The construction project is a joint effort of Ilmarinen, Finnair and SRV in
sustainable development where attention is paid to U-values telling the thermal
transmittance value and to airtightness of the building. The building will
use partly terrestrial heat. The heating and cooling of the building is
arranged by ceiling radiating panels. The selected sanitary fixtures and
lighting types as well as their control aim also to significant energy savings.
