SUBSIDIARY MERGED INTO RAUTARUUKKI CORPORATION

The merger of Rautaruukki Corporation´s Finnish subsidiary Teräsportti Oy (real
estate company) has been entered in the Trade Register on 1 November 2007. The
assets and liabilities of the company have been merged into Rautaruukki
Corporation. 

The action was part of simplifying the Group structure.
