SALCOMP BROADENS ITS PRODUCT PORTFOLIO IN MEDIUM POWER RANGE CHARGING SOLUTIONS 

Salcomp has introduced a new Matrix power adapter platform which broadens       
Salcomp's product range in medium power range charging solutions. Output voltage
in Matrix power adapters can be customized in range of 9-20 volts and the output
power is 24-65 watts. Products based on the Matrix platform are suitable, among 
others, for point-of-sales devices, netbooks, modems and routers, as well as for
industrial applications and consumer electronics.                               

”Matrix product platform is a next step in broadening our product range to      
higher power range charging solutions in 5-150 watts segment. The first step    
outside the low power range chargers, i.e. 3-6 watts, was taken last year, when 
we introduced the 9-18 watt Nova product platform. Our target is in future to   
launch new product platforms at a growing pace. This way we can offer a wide    
product range to our current customers and broaden our customer base to new     
applications,” says Markku Hangasjärvi, President and CEO.                      

Matrix is one of Salcomp's seven power supply solutions based on the company's  
own platforms. The other platforms are Nova, Cosmo, Eagle, Mini, Multiplug and  
Stratos. All of these platforms are specified and developed by Salcomp. They    
feature technologically flexible, globally safety-approved chargers that can be 
sold as such or further tailored to the customer's specific needs.
