RAUTARUUKKI'S CAPITAL MARKET DAY IN MOSCOW, 1-2 OCTOBER 2007

Rautaruukki will hold its annual Capital Market Day for investors and analysts
in Moscow, Russia on 1-2 October 2007. The theme this year is Ruukki's
profitable growth on its way to becoming a leading solutions supplier within
the engineering and construction industries. Rautaruukki's President and CEO
Sakari Tamminen, CFO Mikko Hietanen and division presidents Saku Sipola (Ruukki
Construction), Markku Koljonen (Ruukki Engineering) and Olavi Huhtala (Ruukki
Metals) will give presentations at the event.
