DNB Bankas AB - Notification on material event

Regarding election of a member of the Supervisory Council

AB DNB Bankas, company code 112029270, VAT payer's code LT120292716, registered
office at J. Basanavičiaus St. 26, Vilnius, the data is collected and stored at
the Register of Legal Entities,  notifies that on 11 December 2012 based on the
decision of the bank‘s sole shareholder - Norway‘s DNB Bank ASA - Eline
Skramstad was elected as a member of the Supervisory Council of AB DNB Bankas
until the expiry of term of office of the current Supervisory Council. Eline
Skramstad replaces Ola Landmark on the Supervisory Council after he resigned
from the position on 20 October 2012 to continue his carrier in DNB Bank ASA in
Singapore. The Bank of Lithuania has granted a permission to Eline Skramstad to
take the office. 

Eline Skramstad (born 1971) is the senior credit officer of  DNB Bank ASA.  She
has been working in Norway's DNB Bank ASA since 2001 as the senior vice
president having extensive experience of work with large corporate customers.
Before joining DNB Bank ASA Eline Skramstad worked as senior executive officer
in Norway's Transport and Communication Ministry. 

Eline Skramstad is a graduate from the Norway's Science and technology
university and holds a Master degree. 

Eline Skramstad has no shareholdings in AB DNB Bankas.
