LIQUIDITY PROVIDING FOR AKTIA PLC'S A SHARE (AKTAV)

LIQUIDITY PROVIDING FOR AKTIA PLC'S A SHARE (AKTAV)    
Svenska Handelsbanken AB (publ) Branch Operation in Finland and Aktia PLC    
have signed a market making agreement that meets the requirements of NASDAQ  
OMX Helsinki Ltd's Liquidity Providing (LP) operations.         
According to the agreement, Svenska Handelsbanken will quote bids and offers 
for Aktia PLC's share so that the spread of the bid and offer prices is a    
maximum of 3,25 percent calculated on the bid price. The bid and offer       
quoted by the liquidity provider must be for at least 1000 shares and a      
value of 4000Euros.     
Handelsbanken shall quote bids and offers for Aktia PLC's share in the      
trading system of NASDAQ OMX Helsinki on each trading day for at least      
85 percent of the Continuous Trading period and in the auction procedures   
applicable to the share.     
Market making in accordance with the LP agreement will commence on          
4.1.2010. The agreement will initially be in effect for a fixed term of      
6 months and thereafter until further notice, the agreement's term of notice 
is one month.
