City Service AB - Notification on material event

City Service grows twice its size


City Service group has won a privatization auction of 6 state-owned facilities
management companies in St. Petersburg (Russian Federation), held on May 15th,
2009, and has acquired 80% share of authorized capital in each of the
companies. A protocol of accomplishment has been signed with representatives of
executive body of St. Petersburg, and negotiations on the purchase agreements
are under way. The agreements are expected to be finalized this week. 

City Service group‘s bid for all 6 companies was RUB 185.5 million (EUR 4.3
million). 

The companies manage approximately 10 million sq. meters of facilities in
multi-dwelling apartment houses in St. Petersburg. 

The area of facilities managed by City Service group both in Baltic States and
in Russia will grow from 13.4 million to 24 million sq. meters after takeover
of newly acquired companies. 

„This transaction is of extraordinary importance to the Company, as it brings a
significant increase of our market share in the region“, Mr. Žilvinas
Lapinskas, General Director of City Service AB stated. 

Information in detail regarding latter acquisition‘s influence on City Service
group‘s financial forecast shall be announced in the short run. 
City Service group has entered Russian market in 2006 by acquiring a company in
St. Petersburg. Today the Group operates not only in this city, but also in the
Leningrad Oblast.  City Service group is the largest private company in St.
Petersburg's facilities management sector. 

City Service group currently comprises 27 companies operating in Lithuania,
Latvia, Russia, and Ukraine.
