Sanitas AB - Notification on material event

On transfer of shares of Homeofarm sp. z o.o

AB Sanitas controlled Jelfa SA transferred 100% of shares of Polish subsidiary
Homeofarm sp. z o.o to Valeant Europe in exchange for 2,468,544 shares of
Valeant Europe BV constituting 0.49% of the statutory capital of this company.
This transfer was executed between companies controlled by Valeant
Pharmaceuticals International Inc. and is a part of internal reorganization and
consolidation of operations in Central and Eastern Europe.
