RAISIO SELLS RAPESEED OIL TO NESTE OIL FOR RAW MATERIAL OF BIODIESEL

RAISIO SELLS RAPESEED OIL TO NESTE OIL FOR RAW MATERIAL OF BIODIESEL            

Raisio plc and Neste Oil plc have signed an agreement providing that Raisio will
deliver to Neste Oil 10,000 metric tonnes of rapeseed oil, refined in Finland,  
for raw material of biodiesel during 2007. The deliveries will commence in the  
autumn of 2007.                                                                 

“New use for rapeseed oil refined in Finland also strengthens the future outlook
of the domestic cultivation of oil plants. This enables Raisio's strong         
investments in developing contract farming and the chain of refining. We are    
currently negotiating with Neste Oil on co-operation in raw materials also for  
the years to come,” says Matti Rihko, CEO of Raisio.                            

Oil pressed by Raisio's oil milling business is used by the company's food and  
feed businesses. Furthermore, oil is sold to other Finnish food companies, as   
biological raw material and for export.
