Listing prospectus for Containerships plc's EUR 50.5 million bond available

CONTAINERSHIPS PLC, STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 30 March 2016 at 18:00 EET

Containerships plc issued on 2 April 2015 senior secured notes in the amount of
EUR 45 million to institutional investors with the possibility to issue
additional notes in the amount of EUR 25 million. Containerships plc issued on
28 October 2015 additional notes in the amount of EUR 5.5 million to
institutional investors. The loan was fully subscribed. The four-year loan rate
is based on the three-month euribor rate and the loan margin is 7.5 per cent. In
the loan terms it has been committed to list the bond on Nasdaq Helsinki Ltd's
stock exchange list.

The Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority has today approved the listing
prospectus of the bond. The prospectus is available in English on the company's
website at www.containershipsgroup.com/about-us/for-investors as of 30 March
2016.

The proceeds of the offering have been applied towards refinancing of the
issuer's refinancing debt, towards the purchase of new containers, LNG vessels,
trucks and trailers and towards general corporate purposes of the group. The
proceeds from the additional offering will be applied towards preparing for
potential future acquisitions and towards general corporate purposes of the
group.
