Konecranes Oyj - Total number of voting rights and capital

DISCLOSURE UNDER CHAPTER 2, SECTION 10 OF THE SECURITIES MARKET ACT

Konecranes Plc (ID 0942718-2) has today September 18th 2009, received a         
disclosure under Chapter 2, Section 9 of the Securities Market Act, according to
which the holding of the Ilmarinen Mutual Pension Insurance Company (ID         
0107638-1) in Konecranes decreased below 5 percent. Ilmarinen now holds         
3,176,689 Konecranes' shares which is 4.92% of Konecranes' shares and votes.    

Konecranes has a total of 61,843,720 shares. The company has only one class of  
shares and each share entitles to one vote.
