Auction result Treasury bills RIKV 11 0815 & RIKV 11 1115

Today at 11:00 am, Government Debt Management auctioned Treasury bills in
series RIKV 11 0815 and RIKV 11 1115. 

The auction was structured as a single-price auction, which means that all
accepted bids are offered to the bidders at the same price. The lowest accepted
price (highest yield) determines the selling price. Yield is calculated as a
simple interest rate based on the Actual/360 day rule. 


The main results of the auction were:

RIKV 11 0815:
Number of bids in the series was 23 amounting to ISK 16,255 million nominal
value. Bids were accepted for ISK 10,305 million nominal value at the price of
99.250 (simple interest of 2.99%). 

RIKV 11 1115:
Number of bids in the series was 14 amounting to ISK 4,125 million nominal
value. Bids were accepted for ISK 3,225 million nominal value at the price of
98.473 (simple interest of 3.05%).
