Court Rejects Request Regarding Application of Temporary Protection Measures

On August 23, 2010 Vilnius City Area Court No.1 adopted a decision rejecting
the request of a shareholder Mr. V. Martikonis regarding the application of
temporary protection measures aimed at prohibiting the management and general
shareholders meeting of Lietuvos Energija AB from adoption of resolutions and
performance of actions, related to the implementation of resolutions of the
general shareholders meeting of Lietuvos Energija AB held on July 21,2010.
