Islandsbanki hf. completes covered bond issuance

Íslandsbanki hf. has concluded an auction of covered bonds. The non-indexed
issue ISLA CB 19 was sold today for an amount of ISK 800m at the nominal yield
of 6.50%. The CPI-linked issue ISLA CBI 22 was sold for an amount of ISK 540m at
the real yield of 3.18%.

Total demand amounted to ISK 2.9bn of which 46% of the offers were accepted.
Following the transaction the total size of ISLA CB 19 will be ISK 5.84bn and
the total size of ISLA CBI 22 will be ISK 4.32bn.  The total nominal amount of
outstanding covered bonds issued by Íslandsbanki will amount to ISK 52.86bn
following the transaction.

Trading is expected to commence on 21 January 2016 on Nasdaq Iceland.
